My audiovisual position

Audiovisual co-operation stands with me up-to-date under the topic „the endless variation of a continuum“.
My avowed goal live performance is the equalization of visual and music and from this the production of something new one, which category involved ever individually not to produce able are. The procedure is intentional, not each note needs a correspondence in the picture. The involved ones meet with the study of the common topic. The selection of the involved ones plays thereby a ever larger role, since picture and clay/tone must be equal, to withstand itself has.

O.g. topic developed after a meeting with the citizen of Berlin musician Gert Anklam at the end of of 2005 in Stuttgart. His music (Baritonsaxophon solo one, which hr plays with circular letter respiration) resulted in recognizably new together with my morphing faces from many countries all over the world. Something, for which I looked for a long time. There from the beginning something common, something was that interests us both.

My visuals feed themselves from over 16.000 faces (... and I am a part), which I in the last years world-wide photographed, an endless, fascinating variation again and again a resembling. Frequently the opportunity results to photograph before the performance the guests who then part of the work are.

For many years co-operation with musicians interests me completely particularly and in such a way came it to the most diverse performances with musicians and groups such as Fried Daehn (friedstyle), Manfred Kniel, Gomopark, Fabian Wendt, Débora Vilchez, Carsten Netz and Birgit Maier, Marc Feigenspan (EYE (H)EAR YOU) , Jo Ambros, pictures of rhythm, Jörg Koch (onitor) and other one.

Further visual music projects - among other things with employment of the audiovisual software MAX/MSP jitter - are in preparation. For the year 2006 I have a studio scholarship in the Künstlerhaus (house of artists) in Stuttgart, which is located completely in the indication of the Visual Music together with Matthias Siegert and Kurt Laurenz Theinert.
